A dear man who was heavily scarred from childhood burns caused by playing with a lighter. A graduate of McMaster University, Ed went on to being top management in the travel and hotel business ending up as a Vice President of C P Hotels. Ed was very generous and enjoyed having dinner parties for his friends and other gatherings. He loved stock car racing, and would take me and other friends to events all around Southern Ontario, Ohio and New York. He caught the disease from one encounter in San Francisco and very bravely fought it for a couple of years finally going blind and being bed ridden. His funeral was fully attended with many in deep mourning for our beloved Ed!
