Christopher Gary Smith

Christopher died peacefully, at Michael Garron Hospital, East York, ON with five close friends, his uncle, and remote parents by his side.

He is survived by his mother Barbara, father Gary (Eleanor), sisters Amber (Donald) and Shannon (Mike) and was a proud uncle to Xandor Terrence Christopher and Willow Harmony Joy.

Christopher was an amazing academic who dared to follow his dreams. Earning his PhD from the University of Toronto in 2020, and most recently, being a research associate with the University of Toronto; Christopher was an inspiration and fierce supporter to others in his professional and personal life. Christopher was a light in the lives of everyone he encountered. He loved life to its fullest, and he encouraged others to do the same.
