Aids Memorial Storytelling Project

The AIDS Memorial Storytelling Project aims to both honour and document the stories of those commemorated at the memorial. We’ll be exploring its history, adding names that have been missed and underrepresented, all while creating opportunities for sharing and archiving these vital stories.

The AIDS Memorial Storytelling Project is creating an installation that will weave together the stories of those memorialized at Barbara Hall Park in various formats, such as audio, visual, and other artistic forms, creating a digital archive and interactive experiences where stories will be shared.

This installation will serve to honor the unique impact of people named in the memorial and will be digitally archived. Additionally, the installation will travel to different locations, expanding its reach and allowing more people to connect with and reflect on the stories of those affected by HIV/AIDS.
