The AIDS Memorial Storytelling Project aims to both honour and document the stories of those commemorated at the memorial. We’ll be exploring its history, adding names that have been missed and underrepresented, all while creating opportunities for sharing and archiving these vital stories.
The AIDS Memorial Storytelling Project is creating an installation that will weave together the stories of those memorialized at Barbara Hall Park in various formats, such as audio, visual, and other artistic forms, creating a digital archive and interactive experiences where stories will be shared.
Flower Making Session
We are happy to invite you to our Flower Making Session as part of our AIDS Memorial Storytelling Project. The AIDS Memorial Storytelling Project honors, shares, and archives the stories of community members memorialized in the AIDS Memorial in Barbara Hall Park, Toronto.
In this session, we will create paper flowers to honor those remembered. This workshop offers an opportunity to connect, share, and reflect on the legacies of people impacted by HIV and AIDS. The flowers we create will be used to decorate the AIDS Memorial Storytelling Booth.
